Senior Regional Sales Development Representative

Job Description:

Aztec is seeking Senior-Level Regional Sales Development Representatives in the following regions:

NYC/Metro,  Washington DC, and others.

  • Manage and close enterprise leads generated through outbound prospecting, mining of existing client base, and referrals from our marketing sales team.
  • Generate revenue by implementation of our software solutions, customization services, and integration services sufficient to exceed annual targets.
  • Manage complex, multiple influence sales opportunities ensuring buy-in from all client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the development of comprehensive proposals in response to client RFPs.
  • Participate in sales events, meetings, tradeshows/conferences as directed.
  • Document and track all activity through web-based client relationship management (CRM) automation tools including detailed activity reports, setting tasks for follow-up, lead tracking and probability statistics.
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge and understanding of the educational software market and the potential impact of new and existing competitors.
  • Facilitate and maintain overall client relationship including: strategic planning, revenue growth targets and transition to support team.
  • Regional travel to visit with clients and attend industry tradeshows/conferences as directed.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Broad knowledge of the strategic customer relationship development and management.
  • Strong business problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning, financial management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to coordinate support and operational resources to manage and close deals as well as have experience and business savvy necessary to interact with senior level team members.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Minimum of five plus year sales experience. Three plus years in the educational software industry, specifically in the Community College &/or Workforce Solutions areas, strongly preferred.

Compensation:

The new sales representatives will be paid a base salary plus commissions and provided with a full benefits package.

  • Reps that meet their quota will match salary in commissions.
  • Reps can exceed quota with no ceiling and increased commission value.

Skills/Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of sales experience.
  • Valid Driver’s license and access to vehicle required for travel.
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, self directed environment.
  • PC literacy required including Microsoft Office Suite.

Web Designer and Front End Developer

Required skills:

  • Portfolio and/or links to examples of recent projects.
  • Expert with HTML5 & CSS2/3, web standards, best practices and writing clean code.
  • Proficient with Javascript, good knowledge of jQuery, PHP or ASP (other programming language experience is acceptable).
  • In-depth knowledge of CS5 software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects.
  • Understanding of OO principles, especially with regard to HTML/CSS/JS.
  • Knowledge of web production, multimedia development and design principles. Experience integrating third party/vendor code.
  • Understanding of JS design patterns and front end architecture.
  • Experience working with web services . Understanding of FTP, file folders, and file naming in a Windows networking environment.
