Innovative and Flexible
When asked to identify the most serious deficiency in hourly employees, a recent study conducted by the National Association of Manufacturers determined that 59% of employees lacked basic work performance skills such as timeliness, attendance, and work ethics. Unfortunately, employability competencies are seldom found in school curricula contributing to the gap between skilled and unskilled workers.
The Aztec mission is to fill in the gaps in education, ensuring that students acquire the knowledge necessary to be successful in the work environment.
All lessons are designed to teach basic concepts and principles needed to get and retain a job.
Every module contains pre and post-tests that enable an administrator to fully identify business skill deficiencies. The management system tracks students’ scores, achievements, time on task, and offers complete accountability including reports that can be used for grants and proposals.
MOST IMPORTANTLY this Ready for Work Series can be fully integrated into the Complete Aztec Learning System allowing students to remediate their language arts and mathematic skills while learning the practical elements of job preparation.
