DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. As a company with 150 employees and a reliance on Office 365, we understand the critical role of desktop support in ensuring smooth operations and efficient user experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide frontline technical support to internal staff, addressing hardware and software-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral device problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications, including Office 365 suite and other business software.
- Set up and configure new workstations, ensuring compatibility with the company’s network and security policies.
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including user account creation, access provisioning, and equipment setup.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Respond to support tickets and service requests
- Maintain accurate records of support activities, inventory, and documentation of technical procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in technology projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office 365 applications.
- Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Experience with desktop imaging, deployment, and software installation.
- Understanding of Active Directory, user management, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION
In support of the company mission, the Account Executive is responsible for driving sales revenue through targeting, developing and capturing new client sales opportunities. This will be accomplished by identifying, qualifying and moving prospective clients through the sales cycle to successfully closing new relationships. The Account Executive will need to demonstrate proven success bringing on new clients for long term development. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams as needed to successfully position and sell Aztec solutions in accordance with customer needs. The Account Executive is focused on cultivating new client acquisition through business development, RFP response, targeted account prospecting and leveraging marketing demand generation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Employ effective consultative sales techniques positioning our broad portfolio of software and print Adult Basic Education solutions, customization, and integration services sufficient to exceed annual targets
- Manage complex sales opportunities ensuring buy-in from all client stakeholders
- Coordinate the development of comprehensive proposals in response to client RFPs leveraging the organizations subject matter experts (SMEs) and resources
- Participate in regional and national sales events, meetings, tradeshows/conferences within the territory as directed
- Target and capture new clients leveraging leads generated through targeted outbound prospecting, and marketing demand generation activities
- Document and track all activity through web-based client relationship management (CRM) automation tools, including detailed activity reports, setting tasks for follow-up, lead tracking, and probability statistics
- Maintain sufficient knowledge and understanding of the educational software market and the potential impact of new and existing competitors
- Implement organizational initiatives into sales territory leveraging marketing campaigns and promotions to influence market reach
- Via strategic prospect segmentation, seek out and prioritize prospective customers and business opportunities
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast to help analyze market conditions and/or changes in assigned territory for maximum productivity and sales growth
- Stay current on Aztec existing and emerging product and technologies and help bring voice of customer back into the organization
- Document all client related activity, including calls, e-mails, meeting and opportunities in Aztec’s CRM system
- Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of self and the company
- Working in conjunction with an account-based relationship manager, they will introduce and successfully transfer ownership of new accounts for additional revenue opportunities

- Experience in SAAS and Educational Technology sales is a plus
- Experience in community college, correctional, or workforce solutions areas preferred

In support of the company mission, the Sales Development Rep is tasked with engaging with our customers & prospects the right way, at the right time, with the right message to increase our market reach. Through outbound prospecting activities, the successful candidate will target, engage, qualify and pursue new leads. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conduct organized outbound call & email-based prospecting sequences within targeted market segments that build interest in Aztec solutions
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of use cases & value delivered by Aztec products so as to clearly articulate it to prospects
- Build an understanding of target accounts and engage them with an emphasis on personalization and relevance around Aztec products

Responsibilities include accessibility testing, user interface testing, on web and mobile platforms.
The work environment depends upon self-starters who are well organized and work independently who loves to continually learn. Able to manage own projects with attention to detail with accuracy and reliability. We leverage technology to maintain team approach to all projects, (Teams, Slack, AHA!, O365, TeamCity and others)
The role includes accessibility and user interface testing. The role can expand over time to include test management, data collection, network testing, test development and performance monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- (Required) Accessibility testing (WCAG/508) skill and experience, including ARIA, WCAG 2.1 (min), screen reader expertise (JAWS for Windows/ VoiceOver for IOS/NVDA)
- (Required) Be able to describe accessibility issues and recommendations for resolving same in bug reports to developers
- Strong knowledge of Javascript /HTML/CSS and ARIA
- (Desired/Not Required) Our platforms are all Linux based, so it is helpful if you have experience with basic bash and some programming
