Ready For Work Series
Employability skills are general skills that are necessary for success in the workforce at all employment levels, in all sectors. These skills are often called soft skills, career readiness skills, job skills, or workforce readiness skills, but they all speak to the same set of core skills that employers want.
The Ready for Work Series is specifically designed to foster workforce readiness skills. It gives students the tools to build a successful foundation to launch themselves into today’s workforce with confidence. This comprehensive interactive series engages students with progressive lesson content that is based on real life and workforce scenarios.
The Ready for Work Series provides a solid foundation of the explicit 21st century skills essential to compete in today’s workforce. The Series is aligned with the Employability Skills Framework, and is ideal for programs delivered through Adult Education, ESL, CTE, AJCCs or Workforce Development Board programs.

This allows teachers and administrators to track and monitor student learning in each academic area and individual sub-skill in addition to providing remediation plans to guide instruction and therefore accountability to the CCRS.
