Aztec Pharmacy Technician Training
Aztec presents students with a curriculum that was co-developed by community colleges and pharmacists and represents the essential functions of a pharmacy technician. Best-in-class content provides students with the technical preparation needed to pass the national exams for certification and the workforce skills needed to be prepared for employment. Aztec Pharmacy Technician Training lessons walk learners systematically through every topic required for certification. Aztec’s agreement with the California Pharmacy Board allows students who pass the final exam, and meet the instructional hours requirement, to bypass taking the PTCE and submit an affidavit signed by Aztec’s pharmacist leading to licensure!
Aztec Pharmacy Technician Excel
This companion course for students preparing to take the national Pharmacy Technician certification exam. Pharmacy Technician Excel is designed to be a final review tool for students who have completed, or will soon complete, a Pharmacy Technician training course, meet the eligibility requirements, but need a final review before taking the national certification exam.
Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS)
Aztec’s certified billing and coding specialist program prepares healthcare workers with the skills needed to perform the duties of a medical coder and biller is to code various medical diagnoses, procedures, or symptoms which are then submitted to Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance companies in order to receive reimbursements. This series prepares students to take the National Healthcareer Association certification exam.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Aztec’s certified clinical medical assistant (CCMA) program prepares health care professionals to provide supportive services in a medical environment. CCMAs help doctors, nurses and other medical professionals with basic health care tasks, such as monitoring vital signs or taking blood samples. This series prepares students to take the National Healthcareer Association certification exam.
Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
Aztec’s clinical medical administrative assistant series prepares healthcare professionals for work with clinical procedures and patient care. Certified medical administrative assistants oversee organizational tasks, such as scheduling, managing records, and checking in patients. This series prepares students to take the National Healthcareer Association certification exam.
ESL Transitions
Aztec’s ESL Transitions series is designed to meet the needs of adult learners who are in the process of transitioning from an ESL program to an Adult Basic Education (ABE) program. Covering Reading, Language, and Mathematics, ESL Transitions provides adult learners with the scaffolded skills needed to make the transition from being an English Language Learner to a student in ABE academics.
IET - Workforce Training, Workforce Preparation Activities, Adult Education & Literacy Activities
Aztec’s digital GED® for IET program provides students with a scaffolded curriculum that mirrors the GED® Test experience with targeted activities that instructors can use for whole-class instruction, small group activities, or self-paced instruction. This unique IET focused program includes content that provides contextualization for students entering the workforce, with a focus on Healthcare Careers.
