Students who are struggling to increase their NRS reading scores often need to review key foundational reading and language arts skills. This session will highlight evidence-based instructional approaches that build students’ readiness for higher-level question types, including inference, main idea, and multi-step reasoning tasks. By reinforcing these targeted competencies, educators can better prepare learners to demonstrate improved accuracy and achieve measurable skill gains on CASAS and TABE reading assessments.
