An IET program includes three required components: contextualized academic instruction aligned with participants’ skill levels and SSLOs, workforce preparation that builds essential employability skills, and workforce training delivered through Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. This session will focus on how the integration of these components intentionally helps adult learners build foundational skills, strengthen their workplace readiness, and progress toward industry-recognized credentials within a coordinated, supportive pathway.
